Haiku poets have historically written their poems as part of a community, and even now haiku groups meet all over the world to share and discuss haiku. In a poem as small as a haiku, there’s little room for error; finding just the right word or phrase can often benefit from the input of others. This workshop, a follow-up to For the Birds: A Haiku Craft Talk, will focus on how to critique, edit, and revise haiku.

Participants will share for workshopping at least one bird haiku generated by the prompt from the craft talk. Get helpful feedback on your own haikus. Limited to 12 participants.
