Our most popular event of the year, our host Mark S. Burrows, award-winning translator and Rilke scholar, will be joined once again by Pádraig Ó Tuama, the popular host of Poetry Unbound. This year, poet Kayleen Asbo will also be a part of this conversation about the relevance and impact of Rilke on our lives today. Kayleen is a composer, teacher and poet and the founder of Mythica, an online educational company that weaves together music, art, poetry and spirituality.
The conversations will draw on Mark’s translation of Rilke’s Sonnets to Orpheus (Monkfish, 2024), as well as his book co-authored with Stephanie Dowrick which explores the relevance of Rilke’s poetic vision: You Are the Future. Living the Questions with Rainer Maria Rilke (Monkfish, 2024).
You can find these books and more from Mark Burrows at Bookshop, Amazon and Goodreads.
